It was a pleasure photographing this family of four. Kristina and I graduated High School together, we cheered together and in the last year have worked together planning the DRHS Alumni Cheerleading activities and our 10 Year High School Reunion earlier this year. I have had the chance to really get to know this family and they are so genuine! Alyssa and Albert were great in front of the camera and I got some really cute shots of Alyssa modeling!  Vargas Family, thank you for allowing me to capture your sweet family memories.

Maternity Memories { Carson & Derek}

Before we moved to Kansas, my friend Carson asked if I could do her maternity photos when I came to visit in October. Once I knew the dates I would be back home, we scheduled her session for Oct. 18th. She was due the first week in November. I had such a fun time photographing Carson and her super cute, perfect baby belly!!! Since she is a HUGE Georgia fan, I got some really cute photos using UGA props, including her HUGE Georgia rug. So stinking cute!!!! Well, needless to say, I'm so glad we did this shoot when we did... Baby Kinley was born three days later!!!! In the back of my mind, I figured she would be here soon after, especially since Carson's Dr. appointment was the next day!!!

Sibling Sweetness {Alana, Giana & Trey}

Last week I had a session with the cutest kiddos ever. Alana and Giana were fantastic little models!! Trey, their baby brother was such a HAM, even if I had to case him around the park. They were all so cute and had the sweetest matching outfits on!! Enjoy!

Back Home!!! { PAWSTIN GROOMING}

My mom expected me last Thursday, but I had a different plan. I would arrive on Tuesday and surprise her. And that's just what we did!!! It was a surprise of a lifetime because I was on the phone with her, when I pulled up to her house, asking her where she was going to go for dinner and telling her that we were trying to decide where to eat too (she thought we were still in OK). Her friend was outside and saw us inching up and ran in to tell my mom "WE WERE HERE!!!" It was a very happy moment for all of us. You'd think that we had been gone for years and years but when you have children/grandchildren, 3 1/2 months seems like an eternity!!! In the week we have been here, I have been super busy and the kids have had a blast seeing family!! The first couple of days seemed like Christmas with all the fun toys and gifts for the kids!!! I was honored to second shoot a Bridal/Engagement session and a Wedding over the weekend with Manda Koolis of Mandolin Productions that was fabulous!!! We had alot of fun, were completely exhausted and it was nice to see her and talk 'shop' again!! I will have a sneak peek of those events soon! But I WILL show you a few photos from a mini session I did of the most special animal lovers I know!! Daron and Josh of Pawstin Grooming. They travel to Del Rio once a month to do dog grooming since the groomers here are few and far between. They travel all the way from Austin(hence the name PAWSTIN) just to pamper 'man's best friend.' They do a fantastic job, they are very professional and all for the love of animals, they come here to give dogs the treatment they deserve.

Friends Like These: PRICELESS {The Johnson's}

 So, I FINALLY had the chance to photograph our best friends family photos. I have been promising them photos FOREVER!! This weekend was our chance. We found the perfect spot surrounded by beautiful Fall trees. Guess where it was?? Their BACKYARD!! I know, so lucky!!! It was beautiful, they are beautiful and Taylor and Landon's best friend Emma (their daughter) did so well. Such a photogenic family they are. For the short time we had, I got some great shots. I posted a sideshow for the sneak peak since there were too many good ones to choose from. I couldn't choose.just.a.few!!!!! I was so excited for them to see their pictures today, at breakfast, I busted out my laptop for the big reveal at Cracker Barrel, LOL! Creg and Jondra, I cherish our friendship and we love you all to death!!!! I hope you had as much fun as I did!!! Thank you for letting me photograph you!! Take a look!!!! Just us on the weekend!

Just before Craig arrived on Friday, the kids enjoyed a fun Halloween project. I say 'fun' because for them, it's totally rad!! For mom, not so rad..... I dress them like they are prepping for the ER, why, well because I know my kids. No sooner do I squeeze the BLACK and ORANGE paint onto the paper plates, Taylor already had it all over her. Who was going to do the "pumpkin?" Who was going to do the "bat?" FIRST-- why is FIRST key???? Who knows, don't think we'll ever know. BUT it's what every kid dreams about..... being FIRST!!!! Alright, sorry for the tangent. We painted the sign as fast as we could so that the over stimulation wouldn't kick in full gear. They loved it!!!! It was so cute to see them take turns despite the arguing. It's really neat to see how much they enjoy crafty things. They are definitely my kind of kids, lol!!!

 Then we painted "Belly Badges" which are what the Care Bears have on their bellies!! Kids are into CB's these days which I LOVE!!! So I told them that we can do 'belly badges' every Friday!! Daddy got to help out with Care Bear Stares this time!!!!

Saturday we made a trip to the mall since mommy had to do a little shopping. Craig got to get a little camera action in while the kids played!!!!

Not bad for first time M practice. I'll think he'll be a great partner!!!! I'm glad they finally had some Daddy time that was way overdue!!

We ended Saturday with a Date Night at RED ROCK CANYON with our Besties Craig and Jondra!! It was WONDERFUL!!!!!! AND- our Sunday was short lived after we spent 2 hours at the Sprint store (poor Craig was keeping the kids entertained as long as he could, thanks Honey;)) all for this!!!!

I know, I know most of you are thinking... wow, whoopty doo!!! BUT you have no idea how much I LOVE my Blackberry!!!!! So much so that instead of upgrading to a cooler different phone, or getting the sweet Iphone, I just got.. ANOTHER BLACKBERRY!!!! Oh how I LOVE me some keyboard action!!!! Touch screen is NOT for me.... BUT, I will say,for the sake of better photo quality, I had 1/2 mind to get the ever so popular Iphone!! In the end, I couldn't let BB down. :)

All in all, it was a pretty good weekend. We'll leave it at that!!! ( we won't mention the 2000 meltdowns, lol) Another week lies ahead of us and we will look forward to making the best of it!!! I will begin my packing strategy for our big TEXAS trip!!! Can't wait to see my family, friends and most of all capture lasting memories with my new camera!!!!! Live, laugh, love and ALWAYS be you!!!
